This is no ordinary model railway, but a truly remarkable product of the model makers art. The building of the present railway commenced in 1953. It covers 2,500 sq. ft, has over 1,200 ft of main line track and needs ten operators.

The jewel in the crown is the model of Kings Cross,  and is a magnificent achievement in view of the fine detail incorporated into the model. The passenger station can accommodate ten trains, the track work closely resembles the original, and incorporates some very complicated pointwork.

There are over: 150 locomotives, 100 coaches, 200 wagons and vans, 150 pieces of pointwork, half a mile of trackwork and nine stations.
